New Adults

Do you still feel like you're playing dress up as an adult?  Like you need to look toward "adult-er" adults for help and advice?  Are you trying to figure out who you are while juggling the pressure of finding out what you want to do with the rest of your life?  You might have questions like “who am I”, “what is my purpose in life”, or “what am I doing with my life”. Millennials get a lot of bad press, but as one myself, I know it’s not easy. There are a lot of expectations for our generation, some of them brought on by the generations above us, and some of them brought on by ourselves. I know what you're going through, and I know the enormous benefit of talking it out in therapy.  These are stressful questions to try to find the answers to, and with them you can experience:

  • stress

  • anxiety

  • depression

  • obsessive thinking

  • chronic pain

  • feeling stuck/lost

  • difficulty after a break-up

I'm happy to work through those with you. As not fun as those are, it’s easier when you have support and unconditional understanding. I do my absolute best to provide those. Therapy provides a safe place to explore your ideas, understand where those ideas came from and how they’ve evolved, and work toward personal growth and acceptance.

I’ll be there to ask questions and give feedback. Sometimes I might pop in with scientific facts that might be helpful, sometimes I’ll suggest different meditation or mindfulness exercises. Above all else, I hope to act as a sounding board for you. Whatever it is you’re bringing in, I’m not going to judge you. Contact me and let’s get started.
